A Second Chance for Life

Access to shelter is a basic human need which no one should ever be denied. The good folks at A Second Chance for Life (SCFL) are committed to ending homelessness by providing temporary or emergency housing for veterans, adults, and adolescents alike. Taking their dedication to civic well-being a step further, SCFL also provides counseling, case management, drug and alcohol treatment, job skill training, and PTSD intervention services. SCFL’s new website extends the reach of their efforts, providing those in need with a means of requesting their support and providing those who wish to take action an avenue to do so. Visitors can read about SCFL’s mission and available housing services, learn how they can help fight homelessness, or a make a monetary donation directly to the organization.
