Advancing Opportunities, Inc., is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization providing services and supports to people with disabilities and their families so they can live independently. Recognized as one of the leading disability service providers in the state of New Jersey, the agency is committed to person-centered services delivered in the community. The staff and board of Advancing Opportunities came to us with a vision to improve their current site and to give the site a warmer and more friendly approach. We based our designs to be accessible to all audiences and engaging to anyone that visits the site.

The existing website had a lot of content but was not 508 complaint. 508 compliance is essential for organizations in order to be web accessible. The site did not embrace the warmth of Advancing Opportunities or visually represent all that the organization encompasses. We gave the site a complete makeover and created a sub-domain for their student success center. The site now allows users to toggle gray scale, font size, and contrast to further improve user experience.
