It’s always nice to be recognized for a job well done, but being recognized as the ‘best’, well, that’s the best!
On May 14, 2015, I had the privilege of being inducted into the Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association’s (JSPRAA) coveted ‘Best of the Best Under 40’. The ‘Best of the Best Under 40’ is an annual distinction awarded by the JSPRAA in conjunction with the New Jersey Advertising Club (NJADClub) to 40 young professionals working in New Jersey who have demonstrated exceptional prowess and growth in the fields of marketing, communications, or public relations. To qualify, a marketing and communication professional under the age of 40 must represent the “Best-of-the-Best” in their fields through outstanding work, creativity, and leadership, and possessing a proven track record of giving back to their industry and as well as their communities.
The induction ceremony was held at the lovely Forsgate Country Club in Jamesburg New Jersey, where I had the opportunity to meet several of my fellow inductees, all leaders in their respective fields. It was fantastic speaking with so many accomplished and successful young men and women and hearing about their own professional journeys.
While few things can beat the feeling of hard-earned recognition, I find it difficult to ‘rest on my laurels’. Awards and ribbons and certificates are great (really they are!) but nothing compares the kind of self-satisfaction I get knowing that I’m working everyday toward a better future for myself, my family, my business, and my clients. I can’t help but wonder what lies ahead for me and for Creative Click Media, but I do know one thing; I wouldn’t be where I am it wasn’t for all my fantastic friends, family, and clients.
So thank you all for helping me to become the ‘Best-of-the-Best’!
